March 6, 2020 IICRC Seeks Comments on Flooring Standard

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) ) has opened public review for the draft of its BSR/IICRC S220 Standard for Professional Inspection for Hard Surface Floor Coverings.

The IICRC S220 Standard details the procedures, methods and systems to follow when inspecting light commercial and residential hard surface floor coverings. The floor coverings described include stone, laminate, prefinished wood, ceramic, and resilient.  The institute is inviting public comments on its latest draft through April 20. Cleaning professionals are encouraged to download the standard and submit comments online via the IICRC website.
