ISSA Appoint Andreas König from Numatic As DACH Representative

ISSA has announced the appointment of Andreas König Managing Director of Numatic Germany as the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region representative on the ISSA European Council.

“We are excited to welcome Andreas König to the ISSA European Council,” said Dianna Steinbach, ISSA Director of International Services. “He brings a great energy, innovative thinking, and commitment to the role, which we believe will translate into more value for ISSA’s members in the DACH region.”

Andreas König responded, “I am really looking forward to the challenge of developing the association’s interests in the DACH region and communicating the benefits that ISSA membership can offer companies in the cleaning and hygiene industries.”

Andreas König succeeds Günter Glöckner of Glöckner Solutions in this position and Dianna Steinbach added: “We also want to thank our outgoing Council member, Günter Glöckner, for his many years of dedicated service to ISSA and the region’s members. We are delighted that he will continue to support ISSA as Emeritus Ambassador. In this new role, he will carry on management of the Junge Entscheidungsträger Zukunft (JEZ) project which he launched for ISSA five years ago.

It is a highly worthwhile programme that encourages new generations of cleaning industry workers to gain greater enthusiasm for the important work they do in protecting public health and preserving facilities.” 

As part of ISSA’s growing support for the DACH members, the association will exhibit at the upcoming CMS Berlin exhibition this September so its Germany-based team can connect with members and help them discover the growing list of benefits ISSA brings to the region.
