ISSA Canada Presents Webinar on Fighting Antimicrobial-Resistant Fungus

The Infection Prevention Strategy (TIPS) will present a free webinar on combating the rising threat of antimicrobial-resistant fungus Candida auris (C. auris) on April 27 at 12 p.m. ET.

The complimentary hour-long presentation, Candida auris & Biofilm: Proactive Measures for Mitigating Fungal MDROs, is sponsored by ISSA Canada and EvaClean. Subject matter experts, including Nicole Slacik, EvaClean executive vice president of health care, will provide evidence-based guidance on proactive strategies for reducing risks of infections from C. auris and other multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs). The presenters will also address primary transmission sources and discuss proactive effective cleaning and disinfection methods to mitigate C. auris before outbreaks occur.
