ISSA Members Team up to Launch Healthcare Cleaning Program

Sodexo, Procter & Gamble Professional,  Clorox Healthcare, and GOJO Industries have collaborated to launch Sodexo’s Safer Together program.

The new initiative is an enhanced cleaning and disinfection program incorporating well-known consumer brands to enhance customer confidence in hospitals and health care facilities. The pilot program, which is used in conjunction with U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19-prevention protocols, has been launched at select Care New England hospitals.

“Safety is a critical factor in people’s decision to come back to hospitals. They need to know and feel hospitals are taking additional steps to help increase their safety,” said Catherine Tabaka, CEO of Sodexo Healthcare North America. “Working together with these respected cleaning brands in cleaning, disinfection, and hand hygiene, patients and the neighboring hospital community will quickly see the hospital’s increased attention to helping create a cleaner and healthier environment.”
