April 8, 2024

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has sold its personal protective equipment (PPE) division, KCPPE, to Ansell for US$650 million.

According to a press release, the transaction includes Kimberly-Clark’s Kimtech™ and KleenGuard™ brands. The deal is subject to satisfaction of antitrust approval and other customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalized by September.

“For many years, we have assessed a combination with KCPPE as one of our most attractive acquisition opportunities, and I’m delighted that we have now reached agreement,” said Neil Salmon, Ansell managing director.
