Kimberly-Clark Raises 3rd-Quarter Sales

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, reported third-quarter revenue of US$4.6 billion, an increase of 1% from $4.5 billion a year ago.

Kimberly-Clark also reported a quarterly net income of $671 million, or $1.94 per share, up from $451 million, or $1.29 per share, for the same period last year. Sales in the company’s Kimberly-Clark Professional segment decreased 1% from the previous year to $839million.
