Kimberly-Clark Reports 3rd-Quarter Sales Increase
October 23, 2020Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, reported third-quarter revenue of US$4.7 billion, an increase of 1% from $4.6 billion one year ago.
Kimberly-Clark also reported a quarterly net income of $483 million, or $138 per share, a dip from $671 million, or $1.94 per share, for the same period last year. Sales in the company’s Kimberly-Clark Professional segment decreased 16 % from the previous year to $700 million. The company attributed the decline to economic challenges poised by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
