Medline Donates $1 Million to Advancing Diversity

Medline Industries Inc. has committed a US$1 million donation to organizations advancing social justice, equality diversity, and inclusion.

Medline will donate $250,000 to four organizations—Black Lives Matter, NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, National Urban League, and United Negro College Fund. The company will also match all employee donations made to the four organizations through September, up to an additional $250,000.

“As an organization, we believe that our responsibility to our employees extends beyond the walls of Medline and into the communities where we live,” said Andy Mills, Medline president. “For that reason, we must do our part to achieve social justice for all our employees, and especially for the Black men and women, who have been impacted by generations of systemic racism in our country.”
