Medline Opens New Distribution Facility

Medline Industries Inc. recently opened a new distribution facility in West Jefferson, Ohio.

The US$75 million medical-grade distribution center will allow Medline to better service its customers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, The Columbus Messenger reports. Medline’s 1.2 million square-foot facility will store more than 20,000 individual products and devices.

“Medline’s decision to choose the Columbus region for this new facility demonstrates how Ohio is an ideal destination to build out the nation’s medical supply chain,” said J.P. Nauseef, JobsOhio president and CEO. “This state-of-the-art facility will create 175 new jobs and operate with talent that will play an essential role in getting critical medical supplies to Medline’s growing customer base.”
