New Chairman Named to WD-40 Board
June 24, 2019WD-40 Co. announced plans to appoint Garry Ridge chair of the company’s board at its annual meeting in December 2019.
Ridge succeeds Linda Lang, who is retiring after serving on WD-40’s board since 2004 and as board chair since 2016. Ridge currently serves as WD-40’s president and CEO. He will continue to serve as CEO when he assumes his new position. In a series of related moves, Steve Brass has been named president and chief operating officer and Patricia Olsem has been promoted to president of the company’s Americas division.
