Norovirus Outbreak Sickens Hundreds in Ohio

More than 250 cases of norovirus in the last week have been linked to a restaurant in Maumee, OH.

Officials from the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department have traced 240 instances of the gastrointestinal illness to Mama C’s Donuts. Traces of the virus were found at the restaurant after testing by health officials. The restaurant’s owners temporarily closed the business and are working with the health department to determine the cause of the outbreak, WTOL-TV reports.
