P&G Adds Former BET CEO to Board

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, has appointed Debra L. Lee to its board of directors.

Lee is the former chairman and CEO of BET Networks, a subsidiary of Viacom Inc., a position she held from 2006-2018. Lee began her career with BET in 1986 as general council and executive vice president and served in a variety of leadership roles with the network during her 32-year tenure.

“We are delighted to welcome Debra to the board. She has distinguished herself as a leader in the media industry for more than 30 years and brings broad, deep knowledge ranging from media strategy and programming to corporate risk oversight,” said David Taylor, P&G CEO. “Her experience, expertise, and guidance will further strengthen our efforts to better serve consumers and a broad range of stakeholders. We look forward to her contributions.”
