P&G Board Adds Former Johnson & Johnson Exec

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), has added Ashley McEvoy to the company’s board of directors.

McEvoy is the former executive vice president and worldwide chairman of Johnson & Johnson’s medical devices segment MedTech. As the head of the world’s second-largest medical devices business, she led MedTech’s entrance into telehealth, robotics, and digital surgery, as well as deployment of more than US$20 billion in mergers and acquisitions activity in recent years.

“Ashley’s transformative leadership, track record of innovation and breadth of experience in serving consumers and growing markets will be an asset to P&G. Her expertise will further strengthen the capability of our Board as we improve the lives of consumers around the world,” said Jon Moeller, P&G president and CEO.
