P&G Boosts 4th-Quarter Sales

July 28, 2023

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), has reported fiscal-fourth-quarter net sales of US$20.6 billion, an increase of 5% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $4.16 billion, a rise of 16% from $3.59 billion a year earlier. Net sales for P&G’s healthcare division increased 3%, while sales in its beauty segment jumped 8%. The company’s fabric and home care division reported a 5% increase in net sales, and its baby, feminine, and family care segment raised sales 7%.

“The April-June quarter provided a very strong finish to fiscal year 2023—top-line growth, bottom-line growth, and cash generation,” said Jon Moeller, P&G chairman of the board, president, and CEO. “The team met or exceeded our going-in plans for sales, earnings, and cash in a difficult operating environment and despite significant cost headwinds.”
