P&G Donates to Ronald McDonald House

April 15, 2024

Proctor & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Proctor & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), has donated nearly US$290,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) Canada.

The donation, part of P&G’s Tide brand’s Loads of Hope initiative, was made in recognition of National Laundry Day (April 15). The funds will be used to enhance and expand laundry programs at RMHC locations throughout Canada, including purchasing new machines and building dedicated facilities for immunocompromised families.

“The Tide Loads of Hope program began by providing renewed hope and optimism through the basic comfort of clean clothing following a natural disaster,” said Noam Pik, P&G fabric care Canada senior vice president of commercial operations. “Similarly, families’ lives are upended in an instant when caring for a seriously ill child. With Tide’s goal of having every load of laundry do a load of good, we are stepping up by supporting laundry programming at RMHC across Canada.”
