P&G Honored by Dow for Packaging Innovation
February 10, 2023Proctor & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Proctor & Gamble Professional (P&G PRO), recently was named a recipient of Dow’s 2022 Packaging Innovation Award.
The annual awards program honors packaging providers for innovative designs, materials, technologies, and processes. This year, an independent panel of judges reviewed more than 170 packaging solutions with a focus on a product’s sustainability impact, technological advancement, and user experience.
P&G received a Diamond Award, the program’s highest honor, for its ECOCLIC® Box for Liquid Laundry Capsules. The patent-pending cardboard packaging is made with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified materials and a minimum of 70% recycled fibers; it is also recyclable in curbside paper collection streams.
