P&G Increases 3rd-Quarter Sales 5%

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professionalhas reported a fiscal-third-quarter revenue of US$17.2 billion, an increase of 5% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $3.45 billion up from $3.22 billion a year earlier. Net sales for P&G’s health care divisions were up 7%, while sales in its beauty segment grew 1%. The company’s fabric and home care division reported an 8% increase in net sales and its baby, feminine, and family care segment raised sales 7%.
