P&G Keeps the Toilet Paper Rolling

March 20, 2020

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, announced its Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, production facility will continue operations in spite of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Earlier this week, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf ordered the temporary shutdown of all nonessential businesses in order to stem the spread of coronavirus. The Mehoopany plant received an exemption from Wolf as it produces “life-sustaining” products, USA Today reports. P&G’s Pennsylvania plant is the company’s largest production facility, employing more than 2,000 workers and manufacturing toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, and other paper products.
