P&G Sees Rise in 4th-Quarter Sales

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professionalhas reported a fiscal-fourth-quarter revenue of US$17.7 billion, an increase of 4% from a year earlier.

The company reported an operating income of $3.48 billion up from a loss of $5.192 billion a year earlier. Net sales for P&G’s health care divisions were down 1%, while sales in its beauty segment remained even with the previous year. The company’s fabric and home care division reported an 11% jump in net sales and its baby, feminine, and family-care segment raised sales 3%.
