SC Johnson Launches Recycled Ocean Plastic Initiative
March 4, 2019SC Johnson, parent company of SC Johnson Professional, announced its Windex® brand glass cleaner will be made available in a 100 percent recycled ocean plastic bottle.
As many as 8 million bottles of the consumer glass cleaner will be manufactured from recycled ocean-bound social plastic sourced by Plastic Bank from Haiti, the Philippines, and Indonesia. This marks the first-ever glass cleaner bottle made from 100 percent recycled ocean plastic; Windex bottles had been manufactured from post-consumer recycled plastic since 2015.
