SC Johnson Supports Small Business Initiative

October 23, 2020

SC Johnson, parent company of SC Johnson Professional, has awarded a US$200,000 grant to Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives (CNI).

CNI will use a portion of the grant to provide credit to small businesses in the Chicago area that do not have access to loans from commercial sources. CNI will also use the donation to help fund its newly launched Small Business Repair Program which provides grants to businesses to offset the costs of replacing storefronts, equipment, inventory, and other expenses.

“Small businesses are vital to the health of our neighborhoods, and we all have a responsibility to help support the communities we live and work in during these challenging times,” said Fisk Johnson, SC Johnson chairman and CEO. “SC Johnson is proud to have a strong presence in Chicago, and partner with organizations like CNI as we continue our commitment to providing greater pathways to economic opportunities in underserved populations.”
