January 5, 2024 Sodexo Increases 1st-Quarter Revenue

Sodexo reported a fiscal first-quarter revenue of US$6.89 billion, a 3.1% increase from last year’s revenue of $6.67 billion in the same time period.

The company saw a 4.7% increase in sales in its facility management services division, while revenue in its business and administrations division was up 12.1% compared to the same time last year. Sodexo’s education division reported a 7.5% rise in revenue, and the company’s healthcare division increased sales 6.3%.

“First-quarter growth has remained strong in all geographies, due to pricing, new contract ramp-ups and continued volume growth, particularly in corporate services, sports and leisure, and education,” said Sophie Bellon, Sodexo CEO. “We have had a good start to the year in terms of activity, and we are solidly on track with our strategic plan to be the world leader in sustainable food and valued experiences.”
