Sodexo Recognized for LGBTIQ+ inclusion Initiatives

November 5, 2021 Sodexo Recognized for LGBTIQ+ inclusion Initiatives

Sodexo announced that the company has achieved Advocate designation on the 2021 Workplace Pride Global Benchmark.

First released in 2014, the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark is an annual survey designed to measure the LGBTIQ+ policies and practices for internationally active employers. Rankings are based on a detailed review and analysis of eight categories that show progress on inclusion within the workplace, including policy and communication, workplace awareness, inclusion and engagement, and more. Sodexo achieved the designation of Advocate for the second year in a row by receiving a score above 90% in the benchmarking survey.

“Part of improving quality of life is about encouraging our team members to bring their authentic selves to work. We are humbled by this recognition which demonstrates our commitment to uplifting our LGBTIQ+ employees,” said Mia Mends, Sodexo global chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer.
