Sodexo Secures Extensions With Two Schools in Scotland

Sodexo recently secured contract extensions with two schools in Scotland—Edinburgh Academy and Strathallan School.

Sodexo received a five-year contract extension with Edinburgh Academy to provide catering and cleaning services to the school’s staff and 1,200 students, Facilities Management Journal reports. The company has been contracted by the academy for more than 30 years. In addition, Sodexo has been awarded a seven-year extension on its catering contract with Strathallan School. In addition to the contracted services, the Sodexo will also renovate both schools’ dining facilities.

“We’re thrilled to continue our long-standing partnership further with Edinburgh Academy and Strathallan School and to continue to support both schools in providing nutritious healthy experiences,” said Steve Hawkins, Sodexo UK & Ireland managing director of schools. “With the students back to school this month, the local teams are really looking froward in showcasing the new offers, initiatives, and working with the schools on transforming their dining spaces.”
