Spartan VP Named Chair of HCPA Board

William Schalitz, vice president of research and development for Spartan Chemical Co. Inc., has been appointed chair of the board of directors for the Household Commercial Products Association (HCPA).
Schalitz has been with Spartan since 1993, when he joined the company as a microbiologist responsible for formulating novel antimicrobial cleaning solutions.
“The HCPA board of directors brings decades of leadership and expertise that enables the association to successfully advance our strategic priorities,” said Steve Caldeira, HCPA CEO. “Their knowledge and industry insights are especially valuable this year as the household and commercial products industry continues to play a critical role in the COVID-19 response.
