Tennant Launches Search for Top Custodian

Tennant Co. is now accepting nominations for its third-annual Custodians Are Key recognition program.

First launched in September 2019, the annual program recognizes the work K-12 custodians are doing in schools across the United States. This year’s campaign is themed “Picture Perfect” and serves as a tribute to all the nominees and winners over the past two years to keep their schools clean. Parents, teachers, and school administrators are invited to nominate custodians for their efforts to provide students with a healthy and safe educational environment through November 15. Tennant will then choose 12 finalists, who will each receive a US$500 gift card. The grand prize winner will be selected in May 2022 and receives a prize valued at $5,000 while his or her school receives $10,000.

“Each year we get more nominations for deserving custodians representing schools across the nation. As we enter a new school year, these custodians are under more stress than ever before to keep their schools clean and the morale of students and staff up. We are excited to honor these valuable front-line workers for the critically important work they do each day,” said Amanda Herbert, Tennant marketing manager.
