The Cleaning Authority COO Testifies Before Senate

March 18, 2022

Leanne Stapf, The Cleaning Authority chief operating officer (COO), testified at a hearing earlier this week before the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

The hearing, “An Overview of the Industry, SBA’s Role, and Legislative Proposals,” discussed the current state of franchising and examined various proposals that could be damaging to the franchise business model. Stapf, testifying on behalf of the International Franchise Association (IFA), highlighted the value of franchising and the ways the business model is aiding economic recovery.

“Promoting access to capital is one of the most important ways lawmakers can ensure entrepreneurship opportunities are available to the next generation of people from all backgrounds, and for those who need it most – a uniquely American approach to equal opportunity,” said Stapf.
