Aramark Commits to Reducing Single-Use Plastics

Aramark has announced a companywide commitment to reduce the use of single-use disposable plastics in its food service operations by 2020.
The company will begin phasing out plastic straws and stirrers beginning in September. Aramark aims to reduce the use of plastic straws by 60 percent by 2020. The company will also expand its offerings of reusable water bottles, food containers, and bags and will work with its suppliers and consumers on new product innovations.
