EPA Awards $3M Grant to Protect Water Quality
August 28, 2017The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded a US$3,080,000 grant to the Washington Department of Ecology.
The grant will be used to fund programs that protect surface and groundwater sources from pollution and to maintain water quality standards. Washington’s state legislature will divvy the grant up between several local initiatives throughout the state.
