Sofidel Finalizes Acquisition of Multiple German Brands

Sofidel has successfully finalized its agreement with Hakle GmbH to acquire the Hakle trademark and other brands.

The deal, announced last month, includes the acquisition by Sofidel of consumer brand Hakle and other brands, including Dick&Durstig, Servus, and the Hakle Feuch line of moist toilet tissue. In addition to the brands, the transaction also includes their intellectual property and website domains.

“Thanks to this acquisition, we significantly strengthen our positioning on the German market for toilet tissue and kitchen towels, and also enter a new category—moist toilet tissue,” said Philippe Defacqz, Sofidel vice president of marketing and sales.
